The Observer: [Opening story for each episode] Time. Space. Reality. It’s more than a linear path. It’s a prism of infinite possibilities where one choice can unfold into infinite realities, creating alternate worlds from the ones you know. I am the Observer. Edited by Marvel Studios: Legends: Guardians of the Multiverse (2023). A very simple episode that rushes things along to fit these pieces right into the puzzle. And the facial expressions were also pretty clear to me when I watched this episode because there was no excitement or even a logical story, I realize maybe this is a show aimed at kids? But only kids who are familiar with the entire MCU by now might enjoy it. We’ll see how the rest of the episodes go, but after this one I’m definitely not too excited for them. Edit: Episode 2 gave a real sense of what the MCU is all about, it was creative and thoughtful with major WHAT IF moments. I really enjoyed watching the movie T’s back on the big screen. However, episode 3 broke the deal and made me edit this review. It was so exciting and thrilling to watch that I could have watched the entire movie in this episode. It re-explored the characters we know to the point where you want more. I hope to reach 10 stars for editing by the end of the season. Edit II: Here’s my other star for a “weird” but thought-provoking episode that was the best of the bunch so far in terms of writing, voice acting, animation and story. Special shout out to Benedict Cumberbatch for lending his voice as the boss. Kudos to Marvel for making this series. But heading into episode five, the show was certainly entertaining, witty, and engaging for its quality animation, but at the same time, there was too much going on without giving the audience enough time to soak things in. Overall, a 9/10 for the series until the next two episodes. They need to beat episode 4 to get a 10 from me.
